Photographer Alexander Petrosyan spent many years documenting the ordinary life of representatives of different segments of the population of St. Petersburg. His large collection is not only beautiful, but also very grotesque and impressive. These pictures seem to invite you to the damp and unpredictable streets of St. Petersburg without filters. So does true St. Petersburg have something in common with "polished" shine greeting cards with his image?

The photographer admits that he is inspired on the streets of this greatest of Russian cities, which is also his hometown. This city lives on history, and Alexander knows it in great detail. “This is my world,” Petrosyan says. “Perception depends on many different factors. But if the photo is taken with a certain energy, the viewer will feel it, regardless of geography and culture.”
