27-year-old American became the first woman to visit every country in the world

We recently told you about Cassandra De Pecoll, a 27-year-old traveler from Connecticut (USA), who aspires to become the first woman in the history of mankind to visit every country on our planet. Now she not only did this, but also managed to set a new record for the speed of world travel, surpassing the previous achievement by more than two times.

Cassie's epic adventure called Expedition196 took a total of 18 months and 26 days and cost an American $ 198,000. Of course, this amount was largely covered by the sponsors. Be that as it may, the girl admits that the journey was not at all easy. She visited countries on behalf of the official organization, so part of the trip was spent on meeting with politicians and students in order to promote the organization’s main goal - “mobilizing travel and the tourism industry as the main force in the fight against poverty”.

Now Kassandra is going to visit Antarctica, and then in June to launch a training course on finding financing for people who want to achieve their dream of traveling around the world.

She visited 193 sovereign states, as well as Kosovo, Taiwan and Palestine.
