A photographer spends thousands of hours restoring hopeless photographs from the past

Mario Unger is a photographer, Photoshop artist and musician from Austria who is passionate about “reviving” old, hopelessly dilapidated photographs. He brought the skills of image editing and restoration to perfection in order to convey the story to us in the most understandable and tangible way. Despite the fact that many of the shots Unger is working on were taken more than a hundred years ago, it seems as though we can relive those moments with the characters in the photo again. The connection with the story that Mario gives us is invaluable and very special.
