How tank tests disguised as innocent rides on tourist buses

What do you see in these frames? A caterpillar conveyor rides through the mountains of peaceful tourists, showing them the surroundings of the hills of Mont d'Arbois in the French commune of Megeve ... People are happy and smiling, as befits a vacationer. When you look at a similar picture, how can you ever think that this is actually a military test! So cunningly in France they tested secret armored vehicles to hide developments from enemies.

Nearby you will not see a single soldier, only women, children and ordinary citizens - nothing gives out secret field exercises. Among riding tourists there is also the author of the camouflage idea - General Jean Baptiste Eugene Etienne. It was he who invented to hide the tests of military equipment under the screen of a harmless tourist transport that amuses people. In addition, Jean Baptiste is the developer of the "land battleship" on the track, which is able to fit immediately 20 soldiers with weapons and all the ammunition. The compatriots nicknamed the legendary General Père des Chars, which means "Father of the tanks."
