Guam plaza

This shopping center is located at the very beginning of the street. The most interesting thing here is the JP Superstore hypermarket, where you can buy many different gifts and souvenirs at fairly modest prices. The plaza

Almost opposite you will find The Plaza shopping center. It has 85 stores, 19 of which are represented by world famous brands, 30 - local and American. Agana Shopping Center

In this shopping center, located in the heart of Hagatna, you will find more than a hundred different stores of only local and American brands, that is, this will not be anywhere else. Municipality of Dededo

Micronesia mall

In fact, this mall is located not so far from Tumon Bay, but this is a completely different municipality - Dededo. Inside more than 130 stores and boutiques of famous brands, including Levi's, GAP, Foot Locker and others. Most importantly, it is here that Macy's famous American department store is located, and it is of impressive size. Very soon, another popular department store, Ross Dress for Less, will appear in the mall. Weekend Fair & Marine Drive Flea Market

On weekends at six in the morning, if you suddenly cannot sleep, but still want to buy fresh vegetables, fruits, and, in addition, some of the things, take the Marine Corps Drive road towards the Micronesia Mall. About three kilometers after it, on the right side you will see canopies and a large number of people. Do not worry about food - at the fair you can buy an excellent hot breakfast in the style of Chamorro.

Special Souvenirs

We are sure that you would like to bring something special from Guam, something that is not found anywhere else. It is highly recommended that you pay attention to products from the dark red local tree of Ifit, or Ifil (Intsia bijuga). It is a symbol of Guam, although it is as widespread on the island as palm trees. It makes souvenirs, jewelry and home decoration.

Another symbolic thing for Guam is the shinahe necklace. It can be bought almost everywhere, along with local jewelry. Shinahe can be made from a sea shell, whale bone, basalt or other materials.

In Chamorro Village there is a blacksmith who makes traditional chamorro tools for the garden. They are very unusual and can be a great souvenir from the island of Guam, which is so careful about its culture.

Shopping festival in Guam

If your main interest on the island is shopping, then do not miss the main event of the year - the Winter Shopping Festival in Guam. It was first held in 2012 and has since become increasingly widespread and popular. Of course, the festival does not do without prize draws, as well as festival offers from individual shopping centers and famous brands.
