Where does the real Zhdun live? [Verified personally]

Legend of Runet 2017, the idol of millions. Yes, it's waiting! Looking through new memes on the network, I still could not resist ... I bought a ticket and went to Amsterdam to look for that real Zhdun!

The real Zhdun is a dear creature, it is impossible to pass by, I want to hug and touch every fold! Although in fact it is made of solid material. And what an expressive and kind look he has! :)

A real sculpture by Dutch artist Margriet van Breevoort was created in 2016 for a street exhibition in the city of Leiden, which is half an hour from Amsterdam. The real name of Waiting is Homunculus Loxodontus, lat. humanoid elephant. Margrit depicted a fictional creature sitting in line and waiting for a doctor - a mixture of an elephant and a giant larva. "Sad, tired people with hope in their eyes and characteristically crossed arms always sit in these lines."

At the end of the exhibition, the sculpture was bought by the University Hospital of Leiden (LUMC), now Zhdun is located in the lobby on the ground floor of the clinic. But not one, but surrounded by other modern sculptures, often not very combined with our idea of a medical institution.
