10 funny shots of Tokyo street cats from a Japanese photographer

In the pictures, the Japanese photographer Masayuki Oki manages to capture truly unique “personalities” from a huge variety of stray cats living in Sitamati, one of Tokyo's districts. His collection could be called busayan, which literally means "ugly cat" in Japanese. But the photographer does not really experience anything other than love for these creatures, and calls them his muses.

"I want to travel around the country, photographing all the beautiful stray cats in Japan," says the author of the pictures. Be that as it may, at the moment he limited himself to the Sitamati area, where he removes cats who are fighting, dozing and walking around the camera.

These animals are so funny and unpredictable that viewing pictures is a pleasure!
