Africa in Crimea

In Crimea there is a wonderful place - the Taigan lion park. This park is located near Belogorsk.

I saw many pictures of safari from Africa, although I myself have never been there. I understand that it is wrong to compare photo safaris of Africa and Crimea. But anyway. If there is no way to go to Africa, then there is a very good alternative. And not somewhere, but in the Crimea.

The fight for breakfast. It is best to come to the park in the morning to the opening when there is no such heat and the lions are more active. During the day, they usually hide in the shade and sleep.

The chase is in full swing.

The lioness threw her breakfast and retreated away from sin. Everything goes to the strongest.

Soak up the spring sun. Required.

This is the overall picture. I can not compare with Africa, but it looks very unusual - there are no familiar cells and gratings. The feeling that this is happening somewhere in the wild.

And this is the park of lions from the Ferris wheel. Visible hotel and administrative buildings.

The taigan reservoir. I once slept on the shore of this lake.

And imagine such a picture. Starlight Night. Moon. Lake. And an incredible growl of lions, because the park is very close. Add to that the screams of peacocks. And other animals also make some kind of sounds. But lions and peacocks are beyond competition.

I could fall asleep with great difficulty.

As I understand it, lions are very active at night. They have some endless showdowns at night, most likely, they divide the territory. And in the afternoon they just sleep.

There is enough food for everyone. And the struggle for a tidbit, as shown above, is rarely seen.

I don’t know how now, but before, real crocodiles were found in the pond in the park!

What is not Africa?

Every crocodile wants to bask in the Crimean sun.

Yes, and the rest wants it too.

This zoo had difficult times, a lot has been written about this on the Internet. But there is good news.

The Taigan lion park, as well as the Skazka Zoo in Yalta, have opened and are operating normally.
