A rescued fox cub does not part with its plush rabbit toy

Meet Puggle, a fox cub rescued in London in mid-March, and his friend, a plush rabbit.

“Puggle has a love-hate relationship with him,” says a representative of the National Fox Welfare Society. “When a fox is tired, he loves to snuggle up to the rabbit, but after eating and playing, he likes to tug and toss him.”

The little fox was found recently and now lives in the National Fox Welfare Society. They plan to release him into the wild as soon as he becomes a little older and stronger.

Fox Puggle needed a friend ...

... and they became a plush rabbit!

The baby was only 2 weeks old when he was found in London.

“Puggle has a love-hate relationship with him,” says a spokesman for the National Fox Welfare Society.

"When the fox gets tired, he loves to snuggle up to the rabbit ..."

"... but after eating and playing ..."

"... he likes to fumble and toss him."

The society has already made a plan on what to do with the fox when it grows up.

He will be "integrated into the company of other fox cubs of the same age and size in preparation for the final release and return to the wild.
