Designers Wheatan Sun and Janshi Wu want New York Central Park to be accessible to more people. To do this, they developed a project of grand scale, which involves the construction of a 300-meter fence around its territory, as well as a mound of hills at different points in the park, which will increase its area to 7 square meters. miles

"We strive to change the traditional relationship between landscape and architecture so that every space occupied by a person has a direct connection with nature," say the authors of the project, which was awarded first place at the annual eVolo contest.

“Thanks to the high reflectivity of the glass covering the wall, the park’s landscapes can go beyond physical boundaries, creating the illusion of infinity. A new horizon is being born in the heart of New York.”

"Central Park is a city park that gives New Yorkers a chance to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Nevertheless, only some of them can take this chance."
