One can argue endlessly about the role of the USSR and the success of this state: some consider it a superpower, others see only evil and tragedy in the Union. It is impossible to deny one thing only - the Soviet Union left an indelible mark on the history of mankind and the whole world, affecting not only the countries that were directly its part, but also other states. Today, this visible legacy, once a grandiose and important building, symbolizing the essence of the USSR, is gradually being destroyed and disappears. British photographer Rebecca Bathory went on a trip to Germany, Hungary, Bulgaria and other countries to capture what was left after one of the most controversial states of the past.
