The policeman saved a tiny scared sloth who found himself on a huge highway

It is very difficult to overcome a busy highway, especially if you are a sloth! The other day an unpleasant adventure happened with a very unexpected pedestrian in Quevedo, in central Ecuador. The tiny sloth had the courage and strength to get only to the middle of the highway, and the local police got a chance to make the cutest and most pleasant rescue operation in their memory. Police officers shared photos from this incident on their Facebook page. The charming traveling little animal has gained a huge number of fans who were glad to know that the story ended well.

But we still did not find the answer to the most important question: why did this sloth cross the road?

Despite the fact that the sloth was very scared and literally clung to the pillar ...

... he remained positive ...

... and tried to promote his own salvation.
