In Switzerland will build a 117-meter residential house, covered with trees

Italian architect Stefano Boeri, passionate about innovative green structures, is planning to build a 117-meter-tall apartment building, which will be the first building in the world to be completely covered with evergreen trees. The project will be implemented in Lausanne, Switzerland.

The 36-story green tower will be called La Tour des Cedres (Cedar Tower). The building will be home to more than 100 trees, 6,000 shrubs and 18,000 plants, which will be located on 3,000 square meters. Plants are expected to protect the apartments from harsh winds, dust and noise. In addition, such a house, according to experts, will make the city even more beautiful and attractive.

The construction will be Boeri's second such project. He previously developed two 112-meter towers in Milan.

The 117-meter residential building Stefano Boeri will be the first vertical evergreen forest in the world.
