The Japanese are a nation that is famous throughout the world for its hard work. And in this phenomenon, they simply do not know the measures, working for 12-16 hours a day. Office workers here do not have the right to leave their posts before the boss leaves home, and even for the slightest delay, a fines are imposed on the employee. In Japanese, there is even a word for death from overtime work, and it sounds like "karoshi".

Photographer Adrian Storey decided to show the world the hard life of the working population of the Land of the Rising Sun and created a series of photographs in which he captured the unfortunate Japanese, exhausted by endless work and defeated by sleep in places not intended for this.
