The stupidest scientific studies that could make great jokes

Thanks to human curiosity, many discoveries have taken place in the world. Especially when it comes to scientific minds. But we admit honestly, sometimes some scientific studies are simply baffled by their futility and even absurdity. Nevertheless, no matter what prompts people to conduct such checks, it is always curious to find out about them. Consider the funniest of them:

Scientifically proven fact - slipping on a peel from a banana is impossible. A similar statement was made after an experiment with 10 skins, on each of which a person passed and remained unharmed.

Employees at the University of Cambridge (UK) have proven that sheep are able to memorize and distinguish about fifty other sheep.

And at the University of Iowa (USA), the popular belief that pigeons are very stupid birds was exposed. An experiment was conducted, during which it turned out that their brain, although small, but perfectly “cooks” and is even able to understand art.

Many scholars were extremely skeptical of the historical fact that the Moroccan Sultan Moulay Ismail allegedly had 1,171 children. Then researchers from the University of Vienna decided to calculate the likelihood of this. In their opinion, nothing is impossible in this, because 65-100 women are enough for such offspring, and the ruler should have had sexual relations at least once a day.

Bananas are a bit radioactive. But to get at least some harm, you need to consume a billion pieces daily.

American physicists argue that coffee can be heated by screaming. True, this will take about two years.

Scientists from Minnesota became wildly interested in what it would be like for a person to swim in a pool filled with syrup. And you know what? They conducted a study and found out that this does not affect the swimming speed.

If for 15 seconds you listen to the chirping of crickets and count the number of sounds during this time, and then add 40, you will get the air temperature in Fahrenheit at the moment.

Scientists have found that human meat has a much lower nutritional value than animal meat.

Empirically in Britain, it was determined that the ideal sandwich is the one in which the bacon is fried to such an extent that it produces a crunch of 0.5 decibels.
