Young photojournalists from around the world demonstrated their skills by taking part in the international photo contest of press workers named after Andrei Stenin. Unique to Russia, the competition is open to photographers from around the world aged 18 to 33 years. It is named after the Russian photojournalist Andrei Stenin, who tragically died in 2014 at the age of 33.
Young photojournalists from 77 countries presented about 6,000 works demonstrating the power of their craft. The winners in each category showed how wide and diverse the circle of talents in photojournalism is. These guys from Iran, Belarus, Israel, Russia, South Africa and many other countries are doing vital work, helping us to understand what is happening in the world every day.
