A city in Alaska, where there are more eagles than a raven, which means that people have big problems

The bald eagle is a magnificent bird, which we used to admire and admire. But the inhabitants of Unalashka, a small city in Alaska, do not share our quivering feelings for these creatures, because for them they are akin to natural disaster.

The thing is that the eagles consider this town the best place for nesting, which is why there are more of them here than our raven. Just imagine: together with 5 thousand inhabitants, it is precisely such a population of Unalashka, about 600 bald eagles live. In this situation, collisions of birds with people simply cannot be avoided. The situation is also exacerbated by the fiery and conflicting nature of these birds.

Since these predators prefer to build dwellings higher, and the trees in harsh Alaska still need to be searched, the birds have to nest on the roofs of houses. As you probably already understood, they get the most from those people who live in close proximity to the nests.

The most dangerous period when local residents try to bypass numerous representatives of the hawks a mile away, is considered June-August.
