Incredible Norway: Wonderland Fish Whale

A city with a name unsuitable for our ears, but so attractive in appearance - Husoy is located on a small island in one of the bays of the Norwegian Sea.

We got here on the fourth day of our cycling trip in the north of Norway.

After relaxing in Tromsø, we begin an unhurried path to Senier.

Slowly we got out of the bays and fjords, the landscapes became calmer, and finally, in the distance we saw the real sea, the formidable and endless - the Norwegian.

In the evening we have another ferry that will take us to the Canopy. Senja, by the way, is Norway's second largest island after Svalbard.

We have a small hook planned for Senya - we want to call in the town of Husoy, located on a small island in one of the bays. To do this, we need to overcome the pass. Nothing in the morning invigorates better than rain and climb to the pass.

At the top, an empty yurt by the lake was waiting for us, apparently for groups of tourists. Great place for breakfast! There is even a bonfire with benches, but it was not possible to take advantage, a small vile rain drove us into the yurt.

The inside of the yurt is quite tolerable, although it is still terribly damp and the wind blows. All the more pleasant is a mug of hot tea and a snack.

Then the descent to the town. On the descent, the sun finally came out, and we appreciated the beauty of the town. The city lives mainly by fishing, the place here is good in the depths of the bay. And from the cape, where the lighthouse stands, offers a great view of the fjords and the sea.

We threw the greats under some bush and went to explore the island.

One part of it is densely populated - the port, the village - but the other, where the lighthouse is absolutely wild and untouched by people. Although the trails are laid.

On the opposite side of the bay is another town. A ray of sunshine grabbed him from the gloomy haze that enveloped the entire district.

A lot of birds nest on the island, but the weather is clearly not summer now.

I saw a plant very similar to the golden root, Rhodiola rosea, but, smelling, I realized - not it. There is no smell of rose; there is no smell at all.

This part of the island is very rocky.

When we left this miraculous island, it suddenly turned bad and we saw it from the top point, from the pass. Wonder Yudo Fish-whale - isn't it about him !?

In general, a cool place, you will be at Senier, do not be too lazy to look.
