Soulful portraits of dogs exploring the diversity and beauty of our world

The Polish photographer Alicia Zmysłowska surprisingly manages to combine the stunning and still beauty of desert landscapes with the vibrant and active energy of dogs in her work. Her series, entitled Craving Miracles, is a three-year project that brought her herself, as well as the wonderful heroes of her filming, to the most beautiful places in Iceland, Norway and Alaska. In addition to the splendor of nature, Zmyslovska showed the wonderful qualities of a dog’s essence - courage, adventurism, curiosity and swiftness. The boundless energy of these animals and their inherent excitement in the work of new discoveries and studies complement the silence and pacification of Arctic landscapes as well as possible.
