How Soviet magazines ridiculed a dude

In the Soviet Union, any inconsistencies with generally accepted standards were ridiculed and branded with shame, and it does not matter in which direction a person stood out: in musical tastes, hair or clothing. Despite this, there were a lot of people in the USSR who wanted to dress fashionably and brightly, therefore, the more identical light brown trousers the Soviet light industry produced, the more often young people looked at photographs of Western women of fashion. The farmers began to fill the demand. They sold a variety of Western-made goods. These were mainly shoes and clothes, as well as original records with music from Western bands, cigarettes, jewelry, chewing gum, and just logo packages - especially the Marlboro package was appreciated. So there was a youth subculture, called "dudes", which as a standard adopted mainly the American way of life. At the same time, Soviet satirical magazines seemed to be waiting for this and began to ridicule young people as soon as possible. And how many funny cartoons they made - a hundred years in advance, you can say.
