9 very first photos in the history of mankind

Nearly 200 years have passed since the appearance of the first “reflection of the visible” in the history of mankind, which was created by the Frenchman Joseph Nisefor Niepse with the help of a metal plate, asphalt and sunlight.

We are used to thinking that color photography is a relatively new phenomenon and only black and white photography was possible for a long time. In fact, the world's first color photo was presented by physicist James Maxwell in 1861, and it was called "Tartan Ribbon". Since that time, photography, of course, has gone through many stages of transformation in the context of genres and methods of obtaining a picture. It is interesting that even with the advent of video shooting, photography has not outlived itself, has not ceased to be in demand and relevant, and has not lost its position at all. Whatever the benefits of the video, the magic and mastery of capturing one single, priceless moment that will never happen again is appreciated more and more.

We at TravelAsk never ignore the subject of photography, since we believe that pictures and travel (both in space and in time) are inextricably linked. They give us the opportunity to permanently preserve the best moments of life, to tear and leave ourselves a piece from the fleeting time, return to the past and discover other worlds and realities, and this is amazing! Today we bring to your attention the nine very first, in different senses of the word, photographs in history.
