The Earth Wolf is an amazing animal that you have never heard of.

Surely with their appearance they will remind you of hyenas, since they come from the same family. But the diet of the earthwolf differs markedly from its not too pleasant fellow. Instead of the carrion that hyenas eat, the earthwolves feed mainly on termites and other insects.

They live in East and South Africa and live in underground burrows. Often, wolves themselves do not dig out housing for themselves, preferring to settle in holes abandoned by other animals. These are very shy night creatures with long sticky tongues helping them capture as many termites as possible at a time. The adult earthwolf reaches the same size as the fox. It is also interesting that they are monogamous animals and live with one partner all their lives.
