The pilot flew over a thunderstorm at an altitude of 11,000 m and took a picture that shook the network!

Professional pilots who spend half their lives in the sky are hard to surprise with anything happening in the air. So, one of the pilots of Ecuador Airlines Santiago Borja thought that he had already seen everything in his career. However, the man realized that he was mistaken when he witnessed an amazing sight - an amazing thunderstorm. He captured this incredible picture, located at an altitude of 11,000 m above the Pacific Ocean south of Panama.

The photo turned out to be simply incomparable, but Borja says that it’s very, very difficult to remove thunderstorms. “It’s difficult to photograph thunderstorms, because lightning is very fast, and there is no tripod, and a lot of glare interferes,” the pilot says. “I like this picture because you can feel the amazing magnitude of the thunderstorm and its power, and at the same time it’s amazing how calmly you can fly around her in still air without touching her. "

A similar thunderstorm image was made last year on the coast of Venezuela.
