11 memorable drone photos in which poverty and wealth are separated by one lane

Cape Town photographer Johnny Miller used a drone for his new project, “Unequal Scenes,” in which he wanted to show the inequality that exists in the Republic of South Africa.

“The difference in how people live is sometimes difficult to see from the ground. The whole charm of flying is to see things from a new perspective - to see them for who they really are. When you look down from a height of several hundred meters, they open incredible inequality scenes, ”says Miller.

What you will see in the following pictures is the result of the apartheid policy when racial segregation was legalized. Although this disastrous system was destroyed 22 years ago, "many of the barriers, as well as the inequality that they have created, still exist."
