Life-conquering sand sculpture of a life-sized elephant playing chess with a mouse

Elephant plays chess with a mouse. This is not a bike or someone else's fantasy, but a real sand sculpture, and even life-size, which makes it incredibly impressive. It was created by the world-famous sculptor Ray Villafen, together with the artist Sue Beatrice. The author named Chessi Trankston an almost 3-meter-long elephant, and Herschel Higginbottom, the tiny field mouse with which he plays chess.

Pictures of this sculpture, presented at the Sanderson Lincoln Pavillion exhibition in Arizona, have managed to fly around the world and win the hearts of hundreds of network users. Note that it is really impossible not to fall in love with this work of art: the sand sculpture is so masterfully made and it looks so wonderful and charming that looking at the photographs makes it hard to believe in its reality.
