Abandoned Disney Park: 20 rare shots

In the summer of 1976, Walt Disney World opened the door for happy visitors to its first water park, called River Country. There was a time when huge lines of people wishing to ride on water slides lined up in this place. There were six water attractions, a lake with a sandy bottom and an underwater river, but in 2001 the park was closed, now it is completely abandoned.

Despite the fact that only 15 years have passed, in River Country everything is already overgrown with dense, impassable grass and branchy trees, and now the once-crowded amusement park looks more like a nature reserve. Every year, nature more and more takes possession of this place, making it more and more fabulous and mysterious.
