New photos showing the life of ordinary citizens of North Korea

If real photographs of South Korea can be seen without any problems, then everything is different with the North - the authorities there strictly monitor that the whole world sees only those photographs that are pleasing to the North Korean government. It is not in vain that this state is often called the "theater of the absurd", because a few years ago, tourists, upon arrival in the country, were forced to hand in their phones during their stay, and government guides assigned to foreigners still accompany visitors and take them only along the routes approved by the party, showing only what is allowed to see. All this is done so that foreign guests have the most favorable impression of life here. And even though there is cellular communication in the DPRK now, Russian and foreign TV channels are available in the rooms, and no one selects the telephones, nevertheless, during your departure you can check your photos, the barracks are fenced off from your eyes, and poverty is hidden behind well-groomed central streets that tourists will not be allowed to see. However, this photographer was able to capture the life of North Korean residents exactly as it is, and show it to the world.
