Swiss quit prestigious job, sold everything and left for Africa to save animals

Now such stories are found more and more often: successful people abandon their successful lives, refuse comfort and luxury housing, and are dismissed from high-paying jobs. And all in order to avoid boring everyday life, to travel the world and truly know life.

It is worth recognizing that it is very difficult not to envy such daredevils and adventurers. However, we are accustomed to justifying their courageous deeds by successfully prevailing circumstances, a good bank account and God knows what else. As if the very fullness of life, unforgettable adventures and genuine happiness from the endless knowledge of something new is not enough.

26-year-old Swiss citizen Dean Schneider once again proves that it is not a matter of circumstances or any other gifts of fate. To follow your dream, you do not need to make millions. All you need is courage.

In 2018, Schneider found the courage to quit his career as a financial expert in Switzerland, sell all his property and go to South Africa. Here he acquired an estate of 300 hectares and organized a special nursery for custody of captive lions.

In addition to lions, zebras, kudu, impalas, hyenas and baboons also live here in other parts.

The name of the club Hakuna Mipaka means "Without Borders".

Dean Schneider devotes all his time to protecting wildlife and educating on it. He says that we can protect only what we love.

Every day he learns to interact with the animal kingdom, building a special connection with each of his wards.

The Swiss teaches society the wise and compassionate attitude of our smaller brothers, demonstrating their unusual charm and uniqueness.

His Instagram account has more than 560K subscribers.
