The streets of Havana, which seem to have come out of Wes Anderson’s films

Photographer Helen Havard went from her home in French Polynesia to the incomparable sunny Cuba to capture the cityscapes of her capital. Having outlined a short route, she walked along the streets and simply fell in love with their vibrant shades and unique atmosphere. These buildings, many of which are abandoned and forgotten, seem to show their aging beauty with pride and smile. Howard photographs emphasize all the amazing details: arched windows, decorative railings and vibrant exteriors.

Havana is known for its vibrant urban color palette. Having reduced the color saturation, Helen turned the shades into a pastel gamut, and the shots acquired a dreamy, almost surreal mood. Images are very reminiscent of scenes from Wes Anderson's films, famous for their special aesthetics.
