Fan Ho's Masterpieces of Street Photography on 50-60s Hong Kong Life

After a little more than two and a half years after the untimely death of Fan Ho, his magnificent work is celebrated with a new exhibition. As a photographer, actor, and director, Ho has received tremendous recognition throughout his career, which began when he was still a teenager. At that time, he tried to capture the world around him with the help of Kodak Brownie, which belonged to his father. Then the gifted young man did not get tired of wandering the streets of Hong Kong for hours, peering and waiting for the "moment".

Today, thanks to photographs of street vendors, alleys, playgrounds and children who were then only slightly younger than Fan Ho himself, we can see Hong Kong long and forever lost. His amazing shots about the life of this city in the 50-60s of the last century gave him the nickname "Cartier-Bresson of the East".
