Photographer made stunning portraits of residents of Northern Mongolia

The Belgian photographer and professional dancer Shed Mojahid became famous for his ability to capture dance acrobatics and the beauty of movements. But recently, the traveler's curiosity brought him to Mongolia, where he embarked on a complex and exciting mission. After exploring the country, he ended up in its northern part to photograph the unique people of the spirit.

The small commune of reindeer herders, also known as tzatatans, continues an ancient tradition. Alas, due to the reduction in the number of reindeer, the number of such people also decreased significantly. Today, only about 40 families are engaged in this. The Mujahid's dream was to capture the representatives of this extraordinary society. As part of his project, he created a photo studio in a traditional nomadic dwelling of the spirit. Here, he patiently waited for the members of the camp to go inside, hoping to gain their confidence and make truly deep portraits.
