15 dishes of different nations of the world over which the Americans committed sacrilege

Culinary traditions are an integral part of the culture of every nation. Therefore, national cuisine is able to tell about the population and history of the country no less than the achievements of famous artists, writers or musicians. Unfortunately, sometimes, like a bad attempt to recreate a great masterpiece, some culinary dishes from different countries in the hands of strangers can turn into something unrecognizable. Using the example of the USA, we compare original dishes and what was done with them in this country. Of course, many of the dishes presented are rather special "clinical cases", but it is still interesting to look.

Sushi, Japan

The Japanese art of making sushi is several centuries old, and the American attempt to refine it with the addition of chips seems very inappropriate.

Parmignana Chicken, Italy

Parmignana chicken - a very famous and popular dish of Italian cuisine - chicken breasts in tomato sauce with parmesan cheese. But in the US they created their own version and called it "pizza."

Bach Fish Tacos, Mexico

Perhaps this American cook is too overdone with the simplification of the classic version of street food.

Gazpacho, Spain

Gazpacho tomato soup has been cooked in Spain since the 8th century, and it categorically does not look like a microwaved ketchup plate, which we see on the right.

Temaki Sushi, Japan

Neapolitan Pizza

The first cheese pizza appeared at the end of the 19th century, when the chef Raffaele Esposito decided to make pizza in honor of the Italian flag and seasoned it with red tomatoes, green basil and white mozzarella.

Creole-style sandwich

Sandwiches "in a fight" can surprise you with a variety of fillings, but you can hardly find a variation where chicken nuggets are placed in ordinary bread somewhere but America.

Stuffed Chili, Mexico

The version on the right looks more like already overcooked food, isn't it?

French parfait

Puff creamy fruit variation of parfait is very popular in the USA, but, of course, has nothing to do with the original recipe.

Sausages Bratwurst, Germany

Real German sausages cannot be stuffed with marmalade bears.

Hummus, Lebanon

Devil's eggs

This appetizer is popular on the festive table of many European countries, but only in the USA it is sold here in such a set.

Traditional Japanese Ramen Noodles

According to the American version on the right, ramen noodles should be wrapped in cheese, deep-fried and then cut into pieces.

Texas mexican burrito

The tradition of wrapping food in tortilla appeared in the pre-Columbian era, but this dish is probably the first to meet this filling.
