International Garden Photographer Close-Up Contest Winners

The international garden photography contest 2018 recently presented the winners in the macro photography category. It is supported by the Royal Botanic Gardens of Great Britain and is the most respected competition in the world in botanical, garden and plant photography. A section of Macro Art involves the creation of close-ups of garden life, a demonstration of the unusual details of plant life and the tiny creatures that inhabit them or among them.

The first place was won by the Croatian photographer Petr Sabol for his stunning shot called Mayflis. Let's look at this photo, as well as the work of other winners and finalists.
