A breathtaking hotel created by Zaha Hadid opened in Macau

Macau is considered the main entertainment center of Asia. In 2017, 32 million visitors visited it. Now, travelers have another reason to visit this unusual city: recently opened a new luxury hotel Morpheus. Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, the hotel has 770 rooms. It is located in the most beautiful and lively area of Macau's City of Dreams Resort, which already has 4 hotels, 20 restaurants, a casino and two theaters.

The creation of such an amazing building was inspired by the flowing forms and flowing lines inherent in the art of traditional Chinese carving. The vertical building has 2 towers connected by passages that form voids in the facade. "These voids create a kind of" city window "that connects the interior of the hotel with the city."- says the description of Zaha Hadid Architects. It is worth noting that the architects of the company completed their task expertly. They not only used the existing structures that were created on this site for the construction of condominiums, architects were able to create a stunning hotel without violating the height limit of 160 meters. This is the maximum height allowed by local planning codes.

In addition to breathtaking rooms, the hotel has everything you need for an unforgettable vacation: games rooms, a rooftop pool and spa, a restaurant and a spacious lobby.

The light penetrating through the voids gives the space an amazing dynamism. With 12 glass elevators, guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the city, which are especially impressive during dawn or sunset.
